Your feedback will help to improve Defence\u2019s policies and initiatives to better meet your family\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/surveys.mod.uk\/index.php\/458476?lang=en\">Take the Overseas Families Survey.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shape your future<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your feedback will help to enhance Defence\u2019s support for overseas personnel and families, and will build on recent progress:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forum.royalnavy.mod.uk\/topics\/news\/b\/announcements\/posts\/it-s-here-global-mobility-allowance-trial-begins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Global Mobility Allowance (GMA) trial<\/a> an overseas allowance that offers an easier claims process and greater flexibility on spending.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forum.royalnavy.mod.uk\/topics\/news\/b\/announcements\/posts\/the-new-overseas-allowances-reckoner-oar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Overseas Allowances Reckoner\u202ftool<\/a> \u2013 providing personalised allowance calculation estimates, for those preparing for overseas assignments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extending the Get You Home (Travel to Europe) trial scheme \u2013 contributing towards up to two return journeys per month, to an eligible Service person\u2019s family home in Europe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disturbance Expenses rate uplift\u2013 enabling eligible Service personnel moving to the UK from overseas to claim the same, higher \u2018overseas rate\u2019 as those moving overseas from the UK.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raf-ff.org.uk\/wac-overseas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wraparound Childcare (WAC) Overseas<\/a> \u2013 helping Service families with overseas service finances.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What should I know?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All Regular and Reserve Service personnel and their spouses \/ partners are encouraged to take part.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All feedback is <strong>anonymous<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can use a personal device to complete the survey.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have until 11.59 pm, <strong>Saturday 30 August<\/strong> <strong>2025<\/strong> tomake your voice heard.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It should take you no more than <strong>20 minutes<\/strong> to compete the survey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The more people we hear from, the better able we are to make informed choices on how to improve your experience of Service
