Welcome to Episkopi Primary School!
We are delighted to welcome you to our vibrant and inclusive school community. Whether your time in Cyprus is short or long, we aim to make it an exciting, rewarding, and memorable experience for you and your family.
At Episkopi Primary School, we are proud of our children, our dedicated team, and the unique community we serve. As a DCS school, we bring years of experience in supporting Service Families, and we are committed to making every moment of your child’s learning journey matter.
Our vision is to nurture children who are curious, kind, and who have the courage to shine. We foster a love of learning by encouraging children to ask questions, explore ideas, and challenge themselves. Through strong relationships, resilience, and responsibility, our pupils grow not only in knowledge but in character.
We believe that togetherness is at the heart of everything we do. Our strong partnerships with families and the wider community allow us to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Our broad and engaging curriculum makes the most of our beautiful Cypriot setting and encourages children to take ownership of their learning. We embrace diversity and individuality, helping each child build confidence and discover their unique strengths.
At Episkopi, we truly believe that by working together, we empower children to be curious in their learning, kind in their actions, and to have the courage to shine brightly, whatever their path may be.
We can’t wait to meet you and begin this exciting chapter. However long you’re with us, we know the impact of a positive, nurturing education can last a lifetime.

Our Vision, Values and Aims
Episkopi Primary School is one of three DCS primary schools in Cyprus, nestled in the beautiful Western Sovereign Base Area (WSBA) overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Our unique location inspires a love of learning, a sense of belonging, and a spirit of adventure.
At Episkopi Primary School, we value every child as a unique individual. We build strong, respectful relationships and foster a nurturing environment where kindness, responsibility, and mutual respect underpin all we do. These values form the foundation of a happy, purposeful school community where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
We are committed to sparking curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Our children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and embrace new challenges with resilience and confidence. We celebrate every achievement—big or small—and take pride in the personal growth of every learner.
Our curriculum is rich, inclusive, and ambitious. We make the most of our stunning setting to offer meaningful, high-quality learning experiences, both inside and outside the classroom. Through carefully planned teaching and a wide range of enrichment opportunities, we support children in discovering new interests, developing talents, and reaching their full potential.
Above all, we believe that every child can thrive. By promoting curiosity, kindness, and courage, we empower our pupils to shine—today and in the future.
Curious and kind – have the courage to shine!

Our Epi Owl
Our Epi Owl holds special meaning to us and reminds us of the core values and ethos we all display in our school. Did you know that in Greek mythology, owls had very powerful symbolism? Athena, the Greek goddess, has the owl as her sacred creature. Our Epi Owl helps us remember our school motto, read more in The Epi Owl document.
